The journalist Jan-Owe Wikström from Halmstad has looked closer at the roots of Gyllene Tider and gives us the “unvarnished truth” about the band, as the publisher call it. The book will be in the shops on 5 August.

The book is about everything from the Grape Rock-duo back in 1977, the pop hysteria in the begining of the ’80s until today when the bandmembers look back at the successful reunion last year.

“Gyllene Tider” also includes lots of pictures and cuts.

It’s not only summer and sun in the book. We will meet the first Gyllene Tider with Janne Carlsson and how he was kicked out of the band and how he felt about it. The tragedy in Kristianopel when three fans was killed is even a darker picture in the history of the band that the author reveals new details about.

All the members and many close people to Gyllene Tider will “speak” in “Gyllene Tider”, which also includes a complete discography and a list on live gigs.
