McDonald’s Corp. and EMI Records Group North America said Monday they will start selling special compact discs as part of a promotion to benefit Ronald McDonald Children’s Charities. The promotion, which will last from Friday to Sept. 22, will offer four compact discs or cassettes by entertainers Garth Brooks, Tina Turner, Elton John and Roxette. The music was recorded especially for the promotion and can only be bought at McDonald’s fast-food restaurants.
